COMPETITION RULES
– All entries must be original and new
– Photos must be high quality and clear
– Please do not send in photos that has been in any other competition, seen on social media or published elsewhere
– No photos should be posted on social media before results
– Please photograph your entry with a simple white or black background, picture must be shown clearly
– If entries are not clear, points will be deducted or entry could also be disqualified
– No editing/photoshop is allowed Judges will be able to see any amendments made to images and entry will be instantly disqualified
– No logos/watermarks are allowed
– Contestants can work on their own hands
– No training hands accepted

Judging Criteria
* MAKEUP ARTISTRY
– Best Full Face
This category focuses on a complete / full face makeup. A beautiful face is one that is balanced, harmonious and makes attractive. This look can include full eye – simple or complex, full face, foundation, blush, contours, lips and eyebrows. This look can be impressive or simple but will include a complete, consistent look on the subject. A natural look will be completely natural. A highly glamorous look would be consistently glamorous.
– Best Natural
This is a really natural look. Not everyone likes impressive, bold, and loud makeup, especially for daytime events and styles. That’s when natural makeup comes in. It uses a light backing to give you an even tone, with subtle colors to accentuate the lines. It makes you look ‘pink all peach’, like you’re blushing. Focus on the natural beauty of your subject while applying makeup professionally to bring out the natural beauty that makes the viewer feel sexy but not artificial.
– Best Glam
This is not a subtle or natural look. Glam is all about drama. The glamorous makeup focuses on a bit of drama – a vibrant palette and perhaps a little surprise. However, don’t confuse flashy with show. You want people’s eyes to light up when they say “Wow, you look great!” and don’t make them wonder if you have spoon makeup or not. The glamorous look almost always includes every detail of lashes and contour and eye enlargement work.
– Best Before & After
This category is all about transformation. Including a before and after image is imperative for this category. This look could be bridal party before and after, photography before and after, pageant etc. What matters most is the transformation. It could be a dramatic transformation or a simple one.
– Best Creative / Unconventional
This look is open to those looks that are creatively fueled. They could be fantasy looks, insane use of color, use of texture, use of lines…really the sky is the limit in this category. If it’s creative, it belongs here.
* BRIDAL
– Best Bridal Makeup
Any bridal makeup creation pictured on a bride.
Best Bridal Before & After
Any before and after bridal transformation. This must include a before and after image.
* FILM/TV
– On-screen Makeup
This category is for TV/film makeup artistry.
* STAGE/EVENT
– Onstage Makeup
This category is for any makeup artistry that is for stage productions of any kind including, theatre, live music and pageants.
* STUDENT
– Student Hair & Student Makeup Categories
Only current beauty students are eligible for the Student Hair or Student Makeup categories. The student categories are for newcomers and are not intended for professionals taking continuing education courses. Students who are just starting out and still studying compete against one and other for the best student hair or makeup artistry.

CHOICE OF WINNERS:
– The judges will choose the winners according to the scoring system of the forms.
– Participants with the highest score will win the category.
– The winner will be selected in each category: first, second and the third place.
EXTRA INFORMATION:
– Trophies will be sent the mail system allows packages to be send and all the gilfs from sponsors arrived.
– In matters not covered by these rules and that raise questions, the competition organizer will decide.
